Pakistan along with 190 nations, adopted the Millennium Declaration in 2000. Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) address eight fundamental issues for human development. All of the United Nations member states agreed to achieve the goals by the year 2015. Education is the key to achieving all these developmental goals as education is instrumental for human resources development. This conference will try to explore the research based evidence on the role of teacher education towards the realization of MDGs.
