The campus was established in 1989 in order to respond to the needs of the region. It is housed on 12 acres of land that comprise of science laborites, computer laboratory, library, resident halls for boys and girls. It was earlier affiliated with the Baha-ud-Din Zakariya University, Multan before the establishment of the University of Education.
