TThe Campus was established by the Government of Pakistan as the Government College of Education for Science in 1979 on the recommendation of UNESCO to overcome the acute shortage of science teachers in the province of the Punjab. It began its academic activities with 3-year B.S.Ed. programme based on higher secondary school certificate. The campus has highly qualified faculty, well equipped laboratories, computer centres and a vast collection of science manipulative.
